About Sing The Nation
This August Sing the Nation will unite the UK in shared song. From Yorkshire to Hackney, we’ll deliver events to get people singing together. There will be all kinds of warm up event in museums and libraries throughout August. You can sing Freedom Songs at Hull’s Wilberforce Museum, Songs of London at the Museum of London or sing your way around Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds. It all culminates on August 24th with mass city sings in Big Screen/ Livesites across the UK. These will be led by community choirs and form part of the Official Olympic Handover celebrations.
All events are participatory and all are free. Click here to see what is going near you.
