The Singing Histories - Sing your way through the nation’s history

This collection of 8 booklets uses regional song to explore local history. Produced in partnership with councils, arts groups and historians, the Singing Histories series includes Birmingham, Kent, London, Manchester, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, Plymouth and Sunderland.

 

4 Books are currently available as PDFs for download from this website. The rest will be available for download from July 2009. Hard copies can be obtained through partipating councils and arts groups.

 

Accompanying teachers’ notes are available for download here. Further Information about ongoing activity around the booklets can be found through participating councils.
